Science on Tap is a monthly event at ITAP where early career researchers (graduate students and post-docs) present the latest scientific developments in their research to the public and peers at a local bar in downtown Columbia. Science on Tap is one event that is part of the broader Science on Wheels programing that focuses on stimulating public engagement in science, while offering early career STEM researchers an opportunity to improve their communication skills. This important interface allows community members to interact with and learn more about the research happening in their hometown.
