April is showering us with some exciting news downtown! Here is what you need to know that’s happening in the District.
New Business: Shop Blanc
Shop Blanc is the new business behind Blanc Studio! Come to their grand opening Saturday, April 3rd to welcome them into the District, check out their beauty and self-care products, and maybe even win a giveaway all while supporting local. They have a wide variety of skin, hair, and health products!
New Pop-Up: Marigold Bazaar
Poppy is bringing you another pop-up in the space next to the Atrium! The Marigold Bazaar is opening up on April 5th for a limited time, follow @apoppymoment on Instagram for details!
New Business: Cantina by Silverball
Silverball opened their latest expansion last weekend. They acquired the space next to their original location and turned it into an event space. Cantina serves as a margarita and tequila bar when the space is not rented out.
Reopening: Orr Street Studios
Orr Street Studios has not held a public event in their space in over a year. This Friday, they are opening their doors for the first time for a limited capacity, one-way First Friday! Only 25 people will be permitted to be in the space at one time. Check here for details!
Reopening: Missouri Theater
The Missouri Theater is finally reopening and ready to sit people six feet apart! They have multiple shows scheduled throughout the month of April. Looking for the perfect place to hold your next socially distant event? The theater has a large, open-air event space on their roof!
Reopening: Cafe Berlin’s Full-Service Patio
Cafe Berlin announced this weekend that they will be opening up their patio for full-service dining starting April 1st! Grab a close friend or family member and enjoy the sunshine at Cafe Berlin!
Reopening: Rose Music Hall
Rose Park is ready to host shows again as Missouri heats back up! The first show back outside is April 20th so bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and get ready for a live music under the stars with a cold drink in hand!
Maude Vintage is Moving
Maude Vintage is packing up their Broadway location and moving to N 10th Street next to Iron Tiger. They are remodeling Consign and Design’s previous location and plan to be open this month at the new spot!
Unbound Keynote Speakers
April is the last month of the virtual Unbound Book Festival. The festival’s grand finale is the keynote event with Tracey K. Smith and Jericho Brown, you won’t want to miss out! You can tune in to any of the panels from this year’s virtual festival on Unbound’s Facebook page or YouTube channel!
