First Christian Church (10th and Walnut) is hosting its second annual Burns Night Supper and Ceilidh Dance on January 27, 2024, from 5:45-10 pm. Join us in the heart of The District for an evening of music, dinner, and dancing, all with a uniquely Scottish flair! Burns Night is a celebrated holiday in Scotland, but groups the world over gather in late January to fight off the winter blues together with poetry, a good meal, bagpipes, and a ceilidh (think: contra dancing or barn dancing - you'll be surprised at how much you already know about Scottish dancing, and how easy it is). The event is child-friendly, but there is an annex building which will host a whisky tasting educational experience that is 21+. Nursery care is available upon request.
