Join us on a stroll through the Old SW neighborhood. The residential landscaping and gardens of numerous residences of this historic neighborhood will be observed (from the street or sidewalk) and discussed.

Walking Caution for the Stroll:

A handout will be provided and some walking will be on uneven surfaces (poor quality sidewalks and on a footpath through a park). Wear good walking shoes.

Tour Guide:

James Quinn, is a retired horticulture specialist from Univ. of MO Extension, and has a rich depth of organizing and leading educational efforts with flowers, fruit, vegetables, greenhouses and ornamentals. He has enjoyed gardening/landscaping at the one acre yard of the Prairie Bungalow house ‘on Broadway’ where he and wife reside.

Reservations are required for this FREE ticketed event.
