You’re invited to The District’s annual Holiday Shop Hop, Wassail Stroll & Holiday Lighting! The kick-off to our holiday season! This all-day shopping event will include special offers from your favorite downtown retailers, along with complimentary refreshments for your enjoyment. Check with your favorite retailers for their holiday store hours.

This year we are adding a new twist! Wassail Strolli s a fun new way to explore The District and potentially earn District Business gift cards! From 2-5pm you can taste Wassail samples at participating businesses. You will pick up a ballot from the business. Then you will vote on your favorite! The business who gets the most votes wins bragging rights and a poster to prove it!
The next thing you would do is attend The District Holiday Lighting. How do you do that? This year we are going to light up each of the large District holiday decor pieces in synce at 7pm. Choose your favorite to watch light up! There will be a volunteers at each location with a ballot box. Drop off your ballot at one of those locations! If you cannot attend but want to vote you can drop off your ballot at our office in the mail slot, located at 11 S. 10th St. Please do that by Monday the 4th at 5pm. Rides will start at 4 pm in the North Village Arts District in the courtyard by Fretboard Coffee & Wishflour Bakery. Come early to grab your tickets before they run out! Free and open to the public, paid for by The District!
