Our Prenatal Yoga Partner Class with Katie Schutte is a special offering designed for couples, partners, or supportive friends who want to connect with each other and the growing baby through the calming and restorative benefits of yoga. This class focuses on creating a supportive, nurturing environment where both partners can connect together through movement, breath and baby!
With gentle, modified poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques, you'll deepen your bond, reduce stress, and prepare your body and mind for the journey of parenthood together. Whether you are looking to offer physical support, learn relaxation techniques, or simply experience a calm, shared moment together, this class offers a welcoming space to prepare for childbirth as a team.
What You’ll Experience:
Partnered Yoga Poses: You'll practice poses that incorporate gentle stretching, stability, and balance, while supporting each other’s body during this special time. Many poses will focus on relieving common pregnancy discomforts, such as back pain, tension, and swelling.
Breathing Exercise: Learn calming breathing techniques together, helping both the pregnant partner and their support person prepare for the intensity of labor. The focus will be on breath awareness to promote relaxation and reduce anxiety.
Massage and Hands-On Support: Explore simple massage techniques to alleviate tension and provide relief. Partners will be guided in offering support through touch, ensuring that both feel safe, nurtured, and grounded.
Meditation & Mindfulness: Gentle mindfulness practices will help deepen the emotional connection between you and your partner, while also offering tools to stay present and calm through the ups and downs of pregnancy.
Bonding Time: This class is about connecting on a deeper level. Through supportive poses and shared breathing, you’ll create lasting memories and strengthen your relationship as you prepare for your growing family.

There will be plenty of space for discussion, questions, and feedback from the instructor to ensure comfort and safety for all participants.
