Auditions will consist of both a vocal audition and cold readings from the script.

Those planning to audition will need to prepare the following vocal selections based on which role(s) you are auditioning.

Characters:
JON (age range 25-35), minimal piano playing involved, Vocal Range: A2-A4

SUSAN (age range 18-35), playing other characters, Vocal Range: Aflat3-Eflat5

MICHAEL (age range 18-35), playing other characters, Vocal Range: C3-Gflat4

Synopsis:
Jonathan Larson’s (creator of Rent) semi-autobiographical musical about Jon, a promising composer, on the eve of his thirtieth birthday. His girlfriend wants to get married and move away from the city. His best friend has turned away from acting and makes big money for a marketing firm. Jon is still waiting tables at a diner while trying to write the next great American musical.
