TEDxWalnut Street is an officially licensed independently organized TED events. In celebration of Black History Month and The BOLD Academy, Drs. Melita Walker and Eryca Neville, along with Chrystal Graves are sponsoring TEDxWalnutStreet and exploring what it means to “Foster Inclusive Communities”. Members of our local community such as Mayor, Barbara Buffaloe, local Columbia T.V. host and small business owner, Adonica Coleman, photographer and social justice activist, Valerie Berta, singer/songwriter and leader of Soul Sessions, J. Artiz, University of Missouri-Columbia law professor, S. David Mitchell, and other local leaders will come together on Saturday, February 24th at the Blue Note, to explore what it means to foster inclusive communities.

TEDx is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world and it is a true honor to have the opportunity to host TEDxWalnut Street and in culmination of the event, a musical celebration by J. Artiz.
