A little about these fellas...

Western States is a St. Louis based Midwestern rock ‘n’ roll band that weave together Americana, floor stomping rock and just the right measure of twang. Their debut album From the Center Out won rave reviews from Americana outlets and they’ve shared festival bills with roots music luminaries that include Margo Price, Hayes Carll, Shovels and Rope, and John Moreland. The band's roots in Columbia run deep. Former members of The Doxies, Tim Lloyd and Bryan Maness, are joined by a stellar cast of St. Louis’ best, including guitarist Sean Canan, violinist Mark Hochberg and keyboardist Brian Kasmarzik. Anchored by Lloyd’s character driven songwriting, the band creates a sound that is influenced by the past, but isn’t constrained by it.
